Scholarships
A variety of scholarships are available for tuition, travel expenses, etc. Though competition can be keen for some scholarships, don't let this put you off! It is to your advantage to apply for as many as possible, and your chances of getting one may be better than you think.
Check the University scholarship noticeboard - all available scholarships are advertised and updated every month.
The Scholarships' section in the Registry have application forms etc and will help you with any further information you may require. Please contact The Scholarships Office, Telephone: +64 3 364 2987 ext 8964, scholarships@canterbury.ac.nz. Typically, deadlines for applying are October of any given year but there are variations. You should be looking into this issue from June or July each year.

Kaingaroa Timberlands Fees Scholarship applications open now for new Forestry studentsKaingaroa Timberlands is offering a scholarship to eligible students who are enrolling in a course of study towards a forestry related qualification. The scholarship will pay for full course fees for a period of up to four years.
